Lapprt’s Hawaiian

The Lappert’s Hawaii is located on the island of Kauai. Walter Lappert founded the store in 1983. The store serves unique ice cream made with 20 percent butter.

Lappert makes their ice cream from locally sourced fruit such as papaya, coffee, coffee, passion fruit, coconut, macadamia, and lime, all of which give the ice cream its rich flavors.

With marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate, Heavenly Hana chocolate ice cream is sure to satisfy you. Their kawaii ice cream pie features coconut flakes, chocolate fudge, macadamia nuts, and coffee ice cream with a waffle.

Coconut – Macadamia Caramel is a combination of large macadamia nuts with intense caramel and a tangle of coconut. In addition to Hanapepe, Poipu, and Princeville, they have three other locations on Kauai. On Oahu, you’ll visit Waikiki, and on Maui, you’ll discover them there.

There’s just one window ship, so keep your eyes peeled when you’re looking for it. They have been using jams and compotes to flavor their ice cream with shaved ice.

There are many flavor options available, including banana, coconut, mango, strawberry, pineapple, mixed berries, coffee syrup, green tea, and yuzu.

There are pieces of fruit in all their flavors. The company boasts that its products are organic and free of additives, artificial colors, and flavors.

Ice Cream & Shaved Ice

Wing Shave Ice & Ice Cream is a classic and unique ice cream shop located in downtown Honolulu’s Chinatown.

Shaved ice is also available at the shop. The homemade ice cream flavors include vanilla, chocolate, rose, and mint chocolate rocks.

Herbal sherbet and coconut milk ice cream are also available.

Non-vegan ice cream flavors include chocolate hobia, tea and biscuits, black sesame, and roasted soybeans.

David Leong began its journey in 1982 with the opening of the first Dave’s Ice Cream location on the west coast of Oahu in Waianae.

Over the years while he overcame many challenges, he perfected his business and opened stores in other locations such as Aiea, Pearl City, Waimanalo, Waipio, and Kaunakakai.

Dave’s Ice Cream specializes in freshly made ice cream on the island of Oahu. They have a factory that produces 50,000 gallons of ice cream every month.

Quality is most important to them, so when available, fresh fruit is used instead of canned or frozen fruit. Now Dave’s Ice Cream has 50 flavors, 40 of which are available at all locations.

Some of them include azuki beans, bananas, blue cotton candy, blueberry freckles, chocolate, coconut, green tea, and phobia.
